The auction of pieces of Art
The auction of pieces of Art created during the Open-air Painting Workshops in Pulawy 2008, will take place in the Knights` Chamber in Czartoryski`s Palace in Pulawy, on the 13th of December 2008.
People who would like to take part in the Internet Auction are kindly requested to leave their pre-auction bids at: zkisiel@azoty.pulawy.pl from the 28th of November. On the 13th of December these bidders will be helped to bid on the telephone during the auction. Exact details will be discussed by personal contact.

POLAND MOURNS PRESIDENT, ELITE KILLED IN CRASH.
The polish plane crashed in thick fog near Smolensk in western Russia on Saturday, killing all 97 people on board. President Kaczynski had been planning to mark the 70th anniversary of the massacre of Polish officers by Soviet forces in a nearby forest.

The author of the idea of organizing the open-air painting workshops with members of Kiwanis for talented young people among whom the most gifted one is chosen to be granted artistic scholarship, is Beata Santarek from K.I. club Pulawy. She, as the Commissioner of the event, undertook this difficult and innovatory enterprise. Beata was supported in the organizational matters -she could count on the members of her club, the host of this region-Kiwanis International Club Pulawy.
